Certification; What You Need to Know in 2024
There will be some substantive changes to the information required for CDFI recertification when the new process rolls out in August 2024. Here's a breakdown of the key differences:
New Information:
Transaction Level Report (TLR): Both new and recertifying CDFIs will need to submit a TLR as part of their application and annual reports. This report provides detailed information on individual loans and investments, offering deeper insights into the CDFI's activities and impact.
Enhanced Data Collection: The revised application form includes updated data collection fields across various areas, aiming for a more comprehensive picture of the CDFI's operations, target population, and community service.
Focus on Community Development Impact: The application will ask for more detailed information on the CDFI's community development activities, highlighting its specific impact on low-income communities and underserved populations.
